ALL our work has the rust cut out then the new repairs are made flush fitting and BUTT welded NOT with the panel joggled and overlapped causing future problems between the two panels.
Parts which we manufacture in the workshop are ZINTEC coated steel and then coated with a weldable primer before final assembly & welding therefore giving the restoration project a real chance to last longer than the original car did. This way you will pay more but you will only have to do it once, unlike some of our customers who have come to us with their projects to be put right in only a few years after previous restorations, by other restorers.
