Restoration Description
The ‘SP’ stood for ‘Six-Pack’ and denoted that these 1971-1973 Jensen Interceptors were rather special, with their Chrysler V8 engines sporting three twin-barrel Holley carburettors in a ‘six-pack’ configuration. The designation also hinted at their macho and hairy-chested nature, for the SPs were the most powerful Jensens ever built.
This car required an extensive body restoration, with most panels and sections requiring work.
The bodywork on these cars is complex, repair panels are not widely available and those that are can sometimes need re-work to get that perfect fit. The restoration also involved fabrication of unique repair panels.
