Triumph TR8 Restoration

Restoration Description

This original Triumph TR8, Canadian Spec, on first viewing looked in fair condition, with some corrosion in the windscreen frame and front panel. Closer inspection revealed further corrosion to the majority of the outer body work.

During the first week of paint removal and body inspection, further work was required to the sills, doors, inner and outer arches.

Working closely with the customer, a full restoration plan was put in place, involving new panels, fabrication and all within a tight budget.

The customer stripped most of the fittings prior to receiving the car. The bodywork restoration has now been completed and the car has received a bare-metal re-spray.
